Lol I keep disappearing ): sorry. It has been busy times, busy times.

Anyway, I bought another fish lol. This time a female betta fish. Someone told me they're a lot of fun so I just had to get one, especially when I saw like 6 of them in one tiny little fish bowl at the pet store! D:< WTF!

Seriously, female betta are still territorial and aggressive like males! They're not called "Siamese fighting fish" for nothing. Anyway, I saved one of the smaller females since she was at the bottom of the bowl and the bigger ones were picking on the smaller ones ):

I haven't named her yet though... Although I'm thinking Kyu. Just because I keep going "Cuuute!" because she's cute and all and well, cute, kyute. lol fail. Been keeping her in a small tank because I just set up her fancy 25l (6-something gallon) fish tank and I still think I have to wait a day till I'm able to put her in since my father lied about having a tank heater and the water is just way too cold at the moment. Hopefully it'll warm up some.

I'm just a little worried cause she hasn't eatten anything yet T_T; I've tried giving her some of every kind of food I have! The little bead kinda food, dried worms and flakes... But still no luck ): So yeah, a little worried. I know they usually don't eat when they're introduced to a new enviroment, but if I introduce her to her new tank i'm afraid she won't eat for an even longer time... ;^;' it'll be three days tomorrow.

But I can't wait to put her in! :'D I still got to buy some more decorations since there's not nearly enough hiding places for her. So I'm going to a local aquarium store called Fish Tail probably next weekend (when I have money) I also want to get something called black water extract cause it's supposed to contain natural acids that are found in the beta's native home and it'll help with my extremely basic water ): and I don't want to support crappy pet stores when it comes to actual aquarium nessessities anymore, I just got her tank and stuff because PetCetra is going out of business and I got her tank at $45ish when it was nearly $100 |3 Fufufufu. It's a really nice tank, came with a filter and everything! It's just huge. My desk is like xD taken over.

I'm thinking about getting her some fish mates too since I think I have more than enough room for at least one.

Mmm but yeah. Enough fish talk lol, my friend thinks I'm going to become a crazy fish lady xD!

Other than that, life has been stressful >.< I'm so exhausted...

So, part of the crew I went with to Anime North want to go to Fan Expo that's at the end of August. I think I'll be able to go, I'll just pay for the admission and avoid the dealers room lol

Well I was expecting this. When a friend told me that Square Enix was releasing another MMO I had a feeling it was gonna be another FF. Probably need time to think up a decent plot for the FFXV cause Tetsuya has gone to Disney and the guy who did FFXII thought they had a winner, but in the end was not (in my opinion anyway, it seems people have pretty much forgotten it, much like FFIX... ALTHOUGH FFIX WAS STILL MUCH MORE EPIC since I didn't fall asleep while playing. Fcking gambits.).

I'm about 25% certain that I'll try and play this. Mainly because it looks ridiculously pretty, OF COURSE... but the online part of it... well I just have troubles keeping engaged in MMOs these days, so I can't guarantee I'd stick around... and then I'd whine about wasting my money >.>

AND LOL PS3 EXCLUSIVE? W00t. Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see since our good old Squeenix likes to change their mind 100% of the time.

Oh and my C.C. cosplay failed. the wig was practically destroyed walking around for like 30 minutes and my boots KILLED ME. Even my pro high heel wearing roomies tried walking in them on and were like "these are very very impractical and impossible to walk in". I wonder how I lived walking around in my house with them on :| I did get some pictures so I'll post them laterrr

So I noticed that this anime called Kuroshitsuji was pretty popular and went to check it out. I found part of the manga on OneManga.com and read the first 3 chapters...

THIS IS CONSIDERED TO BE SHONEN? WHAT. HONESTLY. THIS IS A REALLY SAD EXCUSE FOR A SHONEN. This is closer to a sad excuse for a Boy Love than a Shonen. Honestly wtf.

To be honestly, I love Boy Love. I love cute scenarios like ones in "Cutie Beast" by Amayo Tsuge, I love the deep and touching stories like the ones Sumono Yumeka writes like "Same Cell Organism" and "The Day I became a Butterfly" that are so sweet and tender they leave a beautiful impression on your mind. I love funny yet very charming stories like "Clan of the Nakagamis" by Homerun Ken too.

I don't like Yaoi because the whole "No climax, no point, no meaning" obviously has no appeal to me.

But it seriously PISSES me off when they set series up like this. I can't really appreciate something that is seemingly living off this type of fan service that just kinda of sets up thoughts into fangirl's heads and make them swirl off into another dimension of buttsecksing fantasies.

Because I read the first couple of chapters and I was totally uninterested at all. It was pretty boring in general, cliche at the most, art was pretty and the characters were some what entertaining, but nothing especially interesting.

Oh except for the not-so-subtle hints of Sebastian/Ceil that could send any hardcore Yaoi fan from one squealing fit into another.

Yeah. I was pretty disappointed for many reasons.

Like, I can understand aiming towards an audience aimed at boys and girls, but I can't respect adding the element of Shonen Ai just to sell it. I mean sure, I kinda fell for the Axel/Roxas thing, and I still enjoy it like a guilty pleasure. I admit it really helped Kingdom Hearts 2 by capturing the hearts and fantasies of millions of squirming fangirls, but I can't respect that kind of method.

I think if you can't capture the hearts of people by the entirety of your work, then you cannot succeed.

Not to mention, I think series like that bring out the really ugly side of the Yaoi fangirl community. I will forever be mentally scarred by the many disturbing comments left on some of my KH fanarts ;A; never again.

But yeah =v= maybe I just have high expectations for things? Or maybe just things that relate to BL in general...?

I mean, the thing I respect most about BL and even GL is that I think that it conveys a wonderful message; "Love knows no boundaries." and when I see it abused so thoughtlessly, it makes me a bit upset :/ No wonder people these days take love and relationships so lightly.
